The Stacks

The Stacks are a collection of 6 buildings all built around 1960 and located one block away from one another on four separate parcels. San Jose State University, with enrollment in excess of 31,000 students, is only 1-2 blocks away from the properties. While libraries seem to be fading away for the average person, they are a necessary evil for college students. Given the vertical appearance and the card catalog-like numbering of the properties, The Stacks brand is a way to unify this group of buildings. New amenities to appeal to the target renters of college students and young tech employees include converting an abandoned pool into an outdoor lounge with bocce ball, bike storage, and technology.
